2000年，開始擔任廣播節目的DJ。2001年，開始正式的戲劇演出，是神話中第一個跨足演員的先鋒。2003年9月7日至2005年6月5日，擔任SBS《人氣歌謠》的主持人。同時也是神話中，第一個嘗試作詞、作曲的人。2007年，與H2 ENTERTAINMENT簽約，繼李玟雨、申彗星之後，發行了第一張個人專輯。2010年，解除兵役後與LIVEWORKS Company簽約，並開始演出音樂劇。2014年4月，與原個人經紀公司LIVEWORK約滿後未續約。前往加拿大進修後，於10月宣布加入CI ENT，開始多元化的演藝發展。2015年，加入MBC《我獨自生活》的固定演出獲得大眾注目，在2015年底獲得MBC 放送演藝大賞的綜藝部門男子最優秀賞。音樂方面，先後發行了《D》、《W》兩張迷你專輯，並取得音樂節目的一位。
