高校で演劇部に所属し、京都造形芸術大学に進学。在学中の09年、劇作家で演出家の野田秀樹が主宰するワークショップに参加。NODA・MAP公演「ザ・キャラクター」（10）のオーディションに合格し、初舞台を踏む。NODA・MAP番外公演「表に出ろいっ！」（10）ではヒロインの座を勝ち取り、中村勘三郎と野田秀樹との3人芝居に挑戦した。その後NODA・MAP第16回公演「南へ」（11）、阿佐ヶ谷スパイダース「荒野に立つ」（11）、蜷川幸雄演出「あゝ、荒野」に参加し、演劇界の期待の新人として注目を集める。松本佳奈、中村佳代共同監督「東京オアシス」（11）で映画デビューを果たした。
