At the start of Season 4 of the crime drama, Liz (Megan Boone) is still being held captive by her supposed father Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen). Despite her efforts, she's unable to escape. Meanwhile, Red (James Spader) sets out to rescue her with the help of Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blommaert) and some Blacklisters. When the Task Force finds out that Liz is alive, they believe she betrayed them and are once again tasked with bringing her to justice. As the season progresses, Red reveals the truth to the FBI and they join forces to rescue Liz.
