0.0
Three months prior to the premiere, NBC confirmed that Season 7 would be Steve Carell's last season headlining the cast (as Michael G. Scott, Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company's Scranton Branch). The season served to send off Carell in typical, hilarious fashion. Notable story lines from Season 7: Michael is compelled by his corporate bosses to undergo counseling, facilitated by his office nemesis, HR rep Toby Flenderson (Paul Lieberstein); Andy (Ed Helms), feeling jealous of a former college buddy's successful music career, starts an office band with warehouse foreman Darryl (Craig Robinson) and accountant Kevin (Brian Baumgartner); and, filmmaker wannabe Michael finally presents his action movie, titled "Threat Level Midnight," to Holly (Amy Ryan) and the rest of the staffers (this, after he spent 11 long years of writing, filming, re-filming and then re-filming again). Season guest stars include: Ricky Gervais, Timothy Olyphant, Will Arnett, Ray Romano, James Spader, and Jim Carrey.
