伊曼紐爾1989年3月2日生於英格蘭埃塞克斯郡濱海紹森德，母親是多米尼加人，父親一半聖露西亞血統，一半英國血統，姐姐路易斯。3歲至11歲時，她就讀於濱海韋斯特克利夫的聖西爾達學校，之後就讀於維斯特克利夫女子高中。
