Biography
史蒂夫·麥奎因 CBE (Steven Rodney "Steve" McQueen，1969年10月9日)是一名英國電影導演、編劇和視頻藝術家。他是坎城影展金攝影機獎和英國電影學院獎得主。2013年電影《自由之心》獲得紐約影評人協會最佳導演獎，以及波士頓在線影評人協會最佳影片、最佳導演等六項大獎。 他生於倫敦，具有格瑞那達血統。成長於西倫敦，曾就讀於Drayton Manor High School。進入切爾西藝術與設計學院學習藝術與設計，然後獲得倫敦大學金匠學院的美術學學位，並對電影產生了興趣。1993年畢業後到紐約大學Tisch藝術學院短暫學習。 2011年獨立電影《羞恥》贏得洛杉磯影評人協會最佳導演獎。2013年作品《自由之心》獲得廣泛讚譽，並贏得第38屆多倫多影展最高榮譽「人民選擇獎」。
