小学校6年生の頃から劇団東俳に所属し、2010年、16歳で講談社「ミスマガジン2010」のグランプリを受賞したのを機に芸能活動を本格化させる。翌11年に「Seventeen」のミスセブンティーンを受賞し、同誌の専属モデルとして活躍。女優としても、映画「瞬 またたき」（10）や昼ドラ「明日の光をつかめ2」（11）などに出演し、映画「行け！男子高校演劇部」（11）でヒロイン役を演じたほか、青春恋愛映画「今日、恋をはじめます」（12）や「アオハライド」（14）でメインキャストを務める。15年、「Seventeen」から「non-no」の専属モデルへと移籍。同年、情報バラエティ番組「王様のブランチ」の5代目女性司会者に抜てきされ、17年3月まで1年半出演した。その後もモデル、タレントとして活躍し、映画「めがみさま」（17）では松井玲奈とともに主演。18年、「いつまでも白い羽根」でTVドラマ初主演を果たし、学園ラブコメ映画「センセイ君主」などにも出演した。
