マット・デイモン（Matt Damon, 1970年10月8日 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国の俳優、脚本家。身長178cm。
マサチューセッツ州ケンブリッジにて、マシュー・ペイジ・デイモン（Matthew Paige Damon）として生まれる。父親のケント・テルファー・デイモンは株式仲買人、母親のナンシー・カールソン＝ペイジはレスリー大学の教授。イングランド、スコットランド、フィンランド、スウェーデンの血を引く。兄のカイルは彫刻家。
マットが2歳の時に両親は離婚し、ニュートンに引越す。1988年に高校卒業後、同年にハーバード大学に進学。
10代の頃より役者を志し、ハーバード大学在学中から端役で映画やテレビに出始め、結局大学は中退した。だがこの決断を後に後悔している。
