Robbie Coltrane de son vrai nom Anthony Robert McMillan est un acteur écossais né le 30 mars 1950 à Rutherglen dans le Lanarkshire du sud. Il est notamment connu pour son rôle de Rubeus Hagrid dans la saga Harry Potter. Après de brillantes études de peinture et de cinéma à la Glasgow School of Art, Robbie Coltrane réalise le documentaire Young mental health, lauréat du Prix du Scottish Education Council en 1973.
